The Golden Showman is a special event designed to celebrate the abilities of individuals with special needs by giving them the opportunity to experience the excitement of showing livestock. Paired with experienced youth mentors, participants enter the show ring to exhibit a goat while being guided and supported throughout the experience.

Youth exhibitors present animals they have raised and cared for over the year, including steers, heifers, goats, lambs, swine, rabbits, and poultry. These shows are judged on the animal’s quality, appearance, and the exhibitor’s ability to present and handle the animal.
